I am going to create a mongodb test environment and configure my node.js project to use that database.
1. Create a new project
I will name the project as “Inspector”. You can store multiple clusters under the projects. Generally, I divide the system in two clusters. One of them is for testing and the other one is for production environment. Today, I will prepare the testing (pre-prod) environment.
2. Create a cluster
Now, it is time to create a new cluster for the staging environment. I mean, this cluster will be used for test purposes. I will give a name to the cluster as Stg (staging).
3. Node.js Project Configuration
So, I created my staging cluster. Now, I need to know the connection string and implement it to my project.
